Drain down cooling system.
Remove radiator & fan shroud.
Remove battery & tray.
Loosen alternator & remove belt.
Remove water pump & clean front of engine.
Remove air filter box & carburettors.
Remove inlet manifold.
Clean off mating faces on block and inlet manifold in preparation for new gaskets to be fitted.
Degrease cylinder head & block to remove caked oil & dirt hidden by carbs etc.
Clean airbox & carburettors ready for refitting.
Assemble inlet manifold with new gaskets and carburettor rubber mounts and fit to engine.
Fit new water pump and gasket to engine.
Fit new fan belt and adjust as required.
Refit cooling fan, radiator and fan shroud.
Fit new radiator hoses.
Remove old distributor and fit new electronic 123 item.
Remove oil coil and fit new Bosch unit to go with distributor.
Fit new spark plugs and HT leads.
Wire electronic distributor in, tape wires to look original and route around engine bay to coil.
Replace all rubber fuel hoses in the engine bay with new, cutting to length and fitting with new hose clips.
Remove tops of carbs to check for any dirt and clean out.
Fit carbs to engine.
Fit air box assembly with new air filter and fit to engine.
Remove old heater hose.
Route new item through bulkhead & connect to engine and heater unit.
Put car on ramp.
Drain down clutch & brake hydraulic fluid.
Replace clutch slave & master cylinders with new.
Fit new braided stainless steel clutch hose.
Remove old brake hoses.
Fit new braided stainless steel brake hoses.
Remove all road wheels.
Bleed brakes and clutch with fresh fluid.
Change engine oil and oil filter.
Fit new fuel filter.
Refit battery tray, battery and clamp.
Refit wheels.
Correct tyre pressures on all 4 wheels.
Fill cooling system with fresh 50/50 anti-freeze mix.
Investigate heater/fan – fan working ok, on road test she blows hot and cold according to the temperature setting, but O/S dash vent doesn’t blow any air.
Set ignition timing with timing light.
Fit front number plate mounting hardware
